The story of LAPEPIA: where it all began
Welcome to the LAPEPIA blog! I’m thrilled to launch this space where I’ll share stories, ideas, and inspiration. Today, for our first article, I want to tell you how LAPEPIA was born and what—or rather, who—is behind this name.
But first, let me introduce myself. Hi, I’m Lucia! I have a degree in Economics and many years of experience working for a major company in the loyalty sector, where I was responsible for product selection. I have three wonderful little girls, and every day with them is an adventure.
I’m a creative person, and everything beautiful makes me feel good, which is why I’m always looking for it!
The meaning of the name LAPEPIA
LA: the beginning of it all
LA: not two random letters, but the syllable I chose from the name of my little girl SibilLA. It was actually the arrival of Sibilla that gave me the opportunity, but also the courage, to close one chapter of my life and open a new one! Just as it is tradition in the world of music to tune instruments to “La,” I decided to give my project its LA. In the end, developing a new idea is a bit like composing a melody: both require commitment, study, passion, and a lot of creativity.
PE: change
PE: like PE in Penelope. Since becoming a mother to Penelope, I’ve embarked on an extraordinary journey filled with discoveries, unique experiences, and a lot of love, but also a lot of hard work and often struggle. It was precisely when, with little Pepe, I found myself having to reorganize my life to give her the space she needed that the idea of having a business of my own—one that reflected me, my passions, and my values—first came to mind. From then on, little by little, I began to develop ideas, create projects that I would promptly discard, and try new things while nurturing the dream of creating something of my own! 🌈
PIA: energy and creativity
PIA: and here is the final syllable, and with it, my special tribute to my little volcano named OlimPIA! It’s spelled Olimpia, but it reads pure energy, tenacity, infectious joy, and exuberant imagination! 😊💖"PIA" represents not only her name but also the vitality, strength, and positivity she radiates at every moment. Her immense creativity is a constant source of inspiration for me: her stories about unicorns, fairies, mermaids, and enchanted lands among clouds and colorful rainbows remind me that anything is possible—you just have to believe! She brings a free spirit and that little touch of magic to this project that makes every moment special!
